This document outlines the responsible gaming framework and player obligations for Belleville users in Canada.

Belleville Responsible Gaming Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This document sets out the responsible gaming framework applied to all accounts registered by players located in Canada. It defines the tools, procedures, and obligations that govern how the platform identifies, responds to, and supports players who may be experiencing gambling-related harm. It also describes the responsibilities accepted by players when using the service.

Gambling can present financial, psychological, and social risks for some individuals. This policy is an operational document describing how such risks are managed in accordance with applicable standards.

2. Minimum Age Requirement

Access to the service is restricted to individuals who are of legal gambling age in their province or territory of residence. In most Canadian provinces, the minimum age is 19 years. In Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, the minimum age is 18 years.

The company reserves the right to request age verification at any point. Where verification cannot be confirmed, access will be suspended and any funds held pending review will be handled in accordance with the Verification Policy.

3. Player Responsibility

Players are responsible for monitoring their own gambling behavior. The platform provides tools to assist with this, but the primary obligation to gamble within personal financial and time limits rests with the account holder.

Players are advised to consider the following guidance, consistent with Canada’s Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines developed by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction:

  • Limit gambling expenditure to no more than 1% of monthly household income before tax.
  • Gamble on no more than four days per month.
  • Avoid routinely gambling across more than two types of games.
  • Avoid gambling while consuming alcohol or other substances that impair judgment.

These are general guidelines and not guarantees against harm. Players whose circumstances change are encouraged to update their account limits accordingly.

4. Account Controls and Limit-Setting

The platform provides the following account-level controls. Players may apply or adjust these at any time through account settings or by contacting support.

4.1 Deposit Limits

Players may set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. A reduction in limits takes effect immediately. An increase in limits is subject to a cooling-off period before it becomes active.

4.2 Session and Time Limits

Players may set a maximum session duration. When the limit is reached, the session ends automatically.

4.3 Reality Checks

Players may activate periodic notifications that display the duration of the current session and a summary of activity during that session.

4.4 Temporary Exclusion (Cool-Off)

Players may request a temporary suspension of their account for a defined period. During a cool-off period, the account cannot be used to place wagers. The period cannot be shortened once activated.

5. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a formal measure available to any player who wishes to stop gambling for an extended period. The self-exclusion program operates as follows.

5.1 Minimum Term

The minimum self-exclusion term is six months. Players may select longer terms, including permanent exclusion.

5.2 Effect of Self-Exclusion

During the exclusion period, the account is suspended. The player may not place wagers, access promotional materials, or receive marketing communications. The company will take reasonable steps to identify and prevent access by self-excluded individuals.

5.3 Reinstatement

Reinstatement after a time-limited exclusion requires a written request submitted after the exclusion term has expired. Reinstatement is not automatic. A cooling-off period applies before access is restored.

5.4 Provincial Self-Exclusion Programs

In Ontario, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) operates a common voluntary self-exclusion program. A player who has self-excluded from a casino under that program is not eligible to access OLG’s iGaming site for the duration of the exclusion. Players are encouraged to register with provincial self-exclusion programs in addition to any exclusion applied at the account level.

6. Identifying At-Risk Behavior

The platform monitors account activity for indicators that may suggest problematic gambling behavior. These indicators include, but are not limited to, rapid increases in deposit frequency, extended uninterrupted sessions, repeated attempts to access a suspended account, and patterns inconsistent with recreational use.

Where such indicators are identified, the company may contact the player directly, apply temporary account restrictions, or refer the player to available support resources. Information collected for this purpose is not used for marketing.

7. Support Resources

Players who are concerned about their gambling behavior, or who are concerned about someone else, may contact the following organizations. These contacts are provided for informational purposes and are independent of the platform.

8. Advertising and Communications

The platform does not direct gambling-related marketing communications to players who have activated self-exclusion or a cool-off period. Advertising practices are intended to comply with applicable Canadian standards, including requirements that gambling advertising not target minors or individuals who have opted out of such communications.

9. Underage Gambling Prevention

Players with minor children in their household are advised to take precautions to prevent access to gambling accounts. This includes securing login credentials, logging out after each session, and using device-level parental controls where available. The company is not responsible for access obtained by a minor using an adult’s credentials, but will investigate and act on any verified report of underage access.

10. Policy Updates

This Responsible Gaming Policy is reviewed periodically. Material changes will be communicated to registered players before they take effect. Continued use of the account following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The current version of this document is available at all times in the account help section.

11. Contact

Players with questions about this policy or about the tools described in it may contact the support team through the contact details provided in the Contact section of the website.
